Description
The AirTAC DMS/CMS Series is a line of magnetic cylinder position sensors used to detect piston position on pneumatic cylinders equipped with a magnetic piston, providing feedback for automation control. The CMS Series uses a reed switch design for simple, reliable contact-based switching, while the DMS Series uses solid-state sensing with 3-wire PNP or NPN transistor output for faster response and longer service life. Each sensor ships with a mounting bracket for quick installation and is built to withstand vibration, impact, and bending in demanding automation environments. The DMS/CMS Series replaces AirTAC’s earlier DS1 and CS1 series sensors.
