Description
The Banner Engineering UM (part number 81228, model UM-FA-11A) is a universal input safety relay module that monitors a safety light curtain, scanner, e-stop or interlock switch and drives the outputs that remove power from hazardous motion when the safety device trips. It accepts one dual- or single-channel safety input (2 OSSD, 2 NC, or 1 NC) and provides two safety outputs plus one auxiliary output, with self-checking circuitry and a choice of automatic or manual reset. The 22.5 mm wide housing mounts on a standard DIN rail with removable screw terminals.
