The Upstate builds vehicles and tires, makes textiles, plastics and nonwovens, and produces energy equipment. Each depends on drives, controls and connected machines.
Automation Work From the Tavoron Group
Seltrol customers have the engineering resources of the Tavoron group behind them.
Medical Device Manufacturing
Vision Inspection for Label Compliance
New FDA rules required medical device labels to carry traceability data and be verified automatically, and a manufacturer's internal attempt with off-the-shelf parts stalled under tight deadlines.
Tavoron engineers designed a complete vision system with a smart camera, ring light, lens, custom stainless-steel bracket, and electrical and CAD documentation, programmed in the customer's own template.
The system rejects misprinted labels in real time and now runs on more than 50 production lines.
"The level of support and documentation we received made a huge difference."Senior Engineer, global medical device manufacturer
