Electric Actuators Replace a Pneumatic Cylinder
A precision metal fabricator used a pneumatic cylinder for a repetitive, operator-dependent task, but it offered little control over speed or force and added noise to the shop floor.
Tavoron engineers built a turnkey electric actuator package with color-coded foot pedals, full control of position, speed and force, an instant stop and a standard 120-volt supply.
After two pilot units proved the design, the customer ordered four more for its production lines.
