Description
The Baumer ParCon ZADM 034I240.0001 is an edge sensor that detects the edge of, or measures the width of, a moving web or strip using a pulsed infrared beam. It reports position as an analog current signal, and Teach-in setup lets it be taught to a reference edge on the line rather than programmed through a controller, which suits it to web-guiding and edge-position control on converting, printing and packaging lines.
